Mayor Güder said that evaluations have been made on the beach strip for a long time, specifically for evaluating the shoreline. "We started our work to revive the region. Our first working area is 150,000 square meters. We started this project to bring water and sea together with our people. Hopefully, we will complete all our work and offer it to our citizens in about a month." he said.
Stating that water is a significant factor for human life and rehabilitation, Güder emphasized that they have had a dam and water for a long time, but they have not been able to benefit from it. "Hopefully, we will benefit from it to the maximum level with this project," he said.
Güder drew attention to the fact that many people were severely affected psychologically after the earthquake. "Before the earthquake, people have been trapped in their homes because of the pandemic for more than 2 years. Local governments and central governments should make efforts to relieve these people. I believe that with this work we have done, we will eliminate both the impact on people during the pandemic process and the damage caused by the earthquake." he said. (ILKHA)
