Bursa'da ‘Depreme Dirençli Bursa’ paneli düzenlenecek

Bursa Kent Council, with the support of Bursa Metropolitan Municipality, will hold a panel "Resistant Bursa to Earthquake." Experts will participate in the panel on May 30th at Atatürk Congress Culture Center Hüdavendigar Salon. The panel will discuss earthquake hazard and secondary disasters, earthquake-resistant cities and buildings, and earthquake laws. Şevket Orhan, the President of the Bursa Kent Council, emphasized that everyone needs to be knowledgeable about the issue of earthquakes. Orhan invited everyone in Bursa to attend the event. The purpose of the panel is to raise awareness and increase earthquake resistance in Bursa. Muammer Tün, a faculty member in Eskişehir Technical University's Space and Earth Sciences Institute, noted that the panel would be invaluable due to its awareness-raising potential. Tün also added that it is essential to work together to make Bursa more earthquake-resistant. The program will open with a speech from Prof. Dr. Hasan Mandal, the President of TÜBİTAK.(İLKHA)
