The Economist: Erdoğan's predictions were shattered!
The world media closely following the elections in Turkey examined the latest situation in their news.
The British magazine The Economist, saying "Erdoğan shattered the predictions about the elections in Turkey," made the following evaluation;
'Even though the results are enough to force Erdoğan, who received 49.4 percent of the votes, to the second round, the opposition votes fell well below the expectations of both pollsters and Kılıçdaroğlu. Sinan Oğan, the third candidate, surprisingly obtains 5.2 percent of the votes, achieving a remarkably strong result.'
The US-based Bloomberg appeared before its readers with the heading 'Erdoğan Prepares for Decades of Power in Turkey', saying that Erdoğan is a near-victorious name.
CNN International, conveying the information that the elections made it to the second round, 'Kılıçdaroğlu is facing a tough battle to win the second round', the news read.
The Washington Post "Erdoğan has an advantage as the Turkey elections go to the second round" mentioned that Erdoğan finished in front of his rival in the first round in its news.(İLKHA)
